To distract myself from the ringing space inside my head where he should be, I’ve been working on the little things I never quite get around to (who knows; maybe that’s why he’s stepped back). One of these things is a gallery of all the Death cards – published, unpublished & independent art – I’ve collected (in digital format only, sadly) over the years (there are hundreds, so it’s going to take some time!)

Isn’t she STUNNING?? I squealed, for serious. (I got the regular version of Skelita for xmas – I squealed then too
) The artist has done a simialr customisation of the Spectra doll that is equally jaw-dropping.

The Man found the last one just sitting there on a shelf at WallyWorld, as if she wasn’t the most desired new release. Her hair’s a little funky, but I fluffed it up good enough.
Now I need Jinafire and Cupid. THEY WILL BE MINE.
I love this and she is so, so cool and even speaks to my ancestry and childhood, and yet I am a touch afraid of her–as if she’s a female, Mexican, hipster version of Chucky. But…I love it. XOXOXO!! MM
I her out-of-the-box form, she’s a lot more “approachable“. I just LOVE that they gave her actual _bones_, instead of just painting bones onto a regular mold (how morbidly adorable??)

The creepy version is a bit cooler, perhaps! The bones are great. I also love the papel picado skirt…very nice touch!
