Here Comes the Sun

If MR is my counsellor, then I will have his counsel. So I asked for guidance on the earring dream. The results aren’t as dramatic when you see it all spread out, but let me tell you, my face when I turned over the first card – O.O

Wildwood Tarot by Mark Ryan, John Matthews and Will Worthington; Sterling Ethos, 2011

[1] Was it Thor? 19 The Sun of Life
This one took my breath away, no exaggeration. It’s such a godly card. What I had forgotten until I saw this one is that “Thor” in my dream shone with a yellow-gold light; h/He was suffused with it. I knew going in that this would be a difficult question to get an answer to, but I asked it anyway because why not! Can’t say this card confirms or denies h/His identity, but I think a) given that it is a Major, b) it’s The Sun and c) this Sun is an actual “god” card, that the dream was authentic and bears remembering.

[2a] What did I promise? 2 of Arrows Injustice
[2b] What did the earring signify? 2 The Seer
These two questions are closely linked in meaning, but tarot answers can be tricksy – especially when you’re dealing with dream interpretation – so I asked both. The results confirm the link, as well as the subtle difference in meaning. The 2 of Arrows is tied to the Seer/HP by the 2 and the theme of sight. One looks up, the other looks down; one is blinded, the other closes her own eyes; one is closed, the other is open etc. So, I promised to be blinded to the truth +/ injustice – ? The earring is my Sight, and I handed it over? HMM. This is displeasing.

[3] What am I to do with this? 4 of Stones Protection
Well, duh. If I’m just giving away my Sight to every shining dudebro who comes along then I definitely need protection – from myself as much as t/Them.

[Afterthought] Was it you? 6 of Vessels Reunion
Interesting. In the RWS this card can indicate a focus on childhood. Could this be something I did as a child? A promise I made to the Sky God?

Shit.
