The rabbit hole I find myself in currently revolves around the liminal and the Protogenoi. Separately. And I’m having a hard time translating all the… stuff into something legible (same struggle, different day). So of course there was bound to come a moment where the two cross paths and a subsidiary hole opens up and I take a detour for a moment or five. [ENTER STAGE RIGHT] Morpheus.

Not The Matrix Morpheus, or even The Sandman (which I’ve never read *HORROR*) Morpheus – though they draw from His mythology – but Morpheus, one of the Greek Oneiroi. I can’t afford to rabbit-hole here, but he – the MR – has a lot in common with (from the teeny bit of information that’s available) Morpheus, especially regarding the things he is doing behind-the-scenes. I don’t think he is Morpheus, but maybe a Morpheus-type being – ? I dunno.

I was going to say my first impression on seeing the Lovers card in that position was you’re in love with the Dream world, and the World Tree representing your relationship to the Dream World shows you anchored there. I still haven’t gatehred enough intel to decide whether that’s good or bad either, which is why I’m staying on this side of the border for the meanwhile. The Lovers though, it’s about what I can learn; maybe a healthier/more balanced love?
